“Thank you for helping to make Toro’s 5S Day an outstanding success! It was undoubtedly the most successful mass event at Toro as nearly every employee in the Consumer Division participated in the 5S Day event. You clearly helped motivate the division to move toward our corporate initiative of becoming a Lean enterprise.”

Newsletters and other Communication Tools
Keeping the Lean Office message in front of your employees will help them see its relevancy and realize that Lean is here to stay.
In addition to Lean Office Workshops, here are a few ways we can partner together in communicating to your employees on a regular basis:
- Lean Scene – a newsletter that reviews 5S, 7 Areas of Waste and customized articles to your company. Occasional Employee Spotlight interviews make it even more personal. Popular format is electronic, uploaded to your Intranet site or provided as a .pdf attachment to be sent to all employees.
- Safety Scene – a quick-read newsletter re-enforcing the 6th S – Safety. Popular format is printed as one sheet to be displayed in cafeterias, restrooms, break rooms, elevators, etc.
- Audio CD’s – In today’s world of iPod’s and mp3 players, some people prefer to listen versus read. No problem. We can provide our Lean Scene or Safety Scene newsletters in audio format or downloadable mp3 files.
- Tele-seminars & Webinars – Great ways to communicate if you’ve got operations scattered throughout the country.
"Incorporating 6S into our company’s culture has been an enlightening journey. Using Organized Audrey’s Lean Scene newsletter helped us to keep these concepts clear and fresh in everyone’s minds. As a result, 6S has become an important process, philosophy and mindset and will continue to be engrained into our culture."

One-on-One Consulting
On occasion you may have employees who need one-on-one attention in getting their offices under control. We start with a Needs Assessment and then create an Action Plan with defined outcomes and timelines. Great care is given in having a non-judgmental and respectful approach. Lean Office is emphasized throughout the project, helping the employee to further his/her understanding of these principles.
